Star ladies of hope is a registered community based organization with the department of social development in 2020, formerly a self-help group ‘Shujaa support group’ 2014 - 2019. It is a member organization of Kenya sex worker’s alliance and it operates in 6 hotspots areas in Eldoret, Uasin-Gishu county and neighboring borders. Star ladies of hope was founded with the aim of promoting advocacy and wellbeing of Eldoret sex workers.
SLOH is committed to the health and wellbeing of sex workers in Uasin-Gishu County in particular in pursuit of its vision, mission and objectives of providing, creating awareness and sensitization, education and development programs to sex workers through peer and community engagements.
